THE BLISS STORY In the late 1930s Irv Bliss, the Grandfather of the current owners, first visited Mendocino County and spotted a picturesque ranch among the rolling hills and unspoiled land. Years later, when Irv learned of a Mendocino property for sale, he gathered all his savings and placed a bid—sight unseen. As fate would have it, the plot Irv purchased was the original 450-acre estate that had captivated his imagination years before. Sixty years later, the grandkids still carry Irv’s love for the land and celebrate Irv’s legacy by showcasing the rich fruit they grow on the property and putting "bliss" into every bottle. This stainless steel fermented and aged Sauvignon Blanc displays lemon zest and Clementine orange aromas. It has a crisp, tropical entry with a lush mid-palate followed by a crisp green apple finish.
